Blade Ploughing

Blade ploughing, or cutter-barring, is the process of cutting roots and stumps off underground to stop re-growth using an implement attached to a bulldozer’s ripper frame.  The ploughing depth can vary between approximately 250-450mm depending on Customer requirements.  Cutting at this depth reduces damage to farming equipment.  This method is proven to work for intensive farming including, but not limited to, horticulture (melons), orchards and cropping.
